Family portrait session

A couple of weeks ago I drove to Colorado Springs for family portrait session with Shelly and Rodney whose wedding I photographed last year. Now they have a new baby, Aspen along with two children from a previous marriage.
I love to watch families grow!

Edmundo's Celebration of Life

April 12th I attended a Celebration of Life for a friend and former co-worker at The Denver Post, artist Edmundo Aguirre.
Eddy lived a full life and had many friends to show for it.
There are three things that I remember most about him. First, all the parties he had at his home in Lakewood. Second for his art and art collections and third for the gifts he gave for no reason. Geri still talks about the time he gave her a bottle of her favorite perfume, Chanel No. 5.
Eddy was able to live at home during his illness thanks to Hospice Care. He even planned his Celebration of Life party for his friends at Chad's, a bar and restaurant near his home. We had a nice prime rib dinner and toasted to our friend with margaritas.

Ski Tip Lodge at Keystone Wedding

Hello, a few weeks ago I helped my good friend and fellow wedding photographer, Sean Cayton, photograph a fun wedding at the Ski Tip Lodge at Keystone. Sean Cayton.
Bonnie and Erin planned their destination winter wedding at Keystone because they love to snowboard.
It was a beautiful and almost warm day followed late evening snow storm which worked out perfect as couple had plans to go skiing/snowboarding the next day with family and friends.
